From 1978, Brookdale Senior Living Inc has continued to provide senior citizens with retirement communities and assisted living across the United States of America. The senior living program's mission is, "Enriching the lives of those who we serve with compassion, respect, excellence and integrity." The options that Brookdale provides are; independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, Alzheimer and dementia care, and continuing care retirement communities. The housing program serves over 60,000 senior citizens and has locations in 36 states. In 2011, Brookdale made $2.5 billion.
